“What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven't even happened yet.” —Anne Frank

Well, this has been quite a year! A year to be thankful, a year to be grateful and definitely filled with memories.

It began a little unexpected, but proved to be one of the best years of learning and growth not only for me, but for my family as well. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve learned to take nothing for granted. Many of our experiences this year would never been possible without having an open mind, trusting in God and believing that anything is possible.

As with the beginning of each new year, one always thinks what’s going to happen? With all the uncertainties of the last couple of years, although we had planned for many things, we were not sure how it was all going to turn out.  As usual everything always happens for a reason and things have turned out just as they were suppose to…but better!

This last week of 2022 has brought even more hope, love and appreciation for how blessed we are. Our Christmas Cruise turned out to be one of our best Christmases yet. Spending it in a way that may be unconventional turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made! There was no stress, no drama and no work. The kids loved the opportunity to meet new people, learn to FlowRide and spent quality time with us. Thank you to Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for making Christmas at sea so special. The meals, entertainment, beautiful holiday decor and Midnight mass created a wonderful place to celebrate. Christmas Day was spent at Señor Frogs in Nassau, where we had excellent entertainment and too many drinks! Never thought I would be doing shots with my kids on Christmas Day but it was so much fun and one for the books!

The last few days of the year we’ve taken to long lazy days on our favourite Gulf Stream beach close to our condo, Pickle-ball of course and nights of Netflix watching! We have also enjoyed catching up with friends who we haven’t seen in a while.

Our year of adventure is far from over and we are hoping the next 8 months are just as exciting as our first 4 months. We are looking forward to sharing it with you, as we continue to make memories.  Thank you to the amazing people who have helped me to grow this past year, who have supported me in so many ways and who allowed me to be me.

As I begin 2023 I have take this quote below as my new mantra:

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who don’t. And believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance-take it, if it changes your life-let it. Nobody said that it would be easy. They just promised it would be worth it.

❤Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year …. Make It Worth It!
